We pitched Fashion Days a giant Christmas tree made of boots that nobody had asked for, and the store came back for three more CGI stunts over Bucharest.
Between December 2023 and December 2024 we made four CGI films for Fashion Days, each one putting something too big to miss in the middle of Bucharest. Here’s Valentine’s 2024, with sound.
Nobody briefed the first one. In November 2023 we sent Fashion Days a huge Christmas tree for a Bucharest boulevard, like the one that used to go up in Piața Unirii. Ours was rings of boots on an LED base that reads “MERRY FASHION DAYS!”, with gift boxes on a red carpet. Fashion Days posted it on 15 December, the day we delivered.
In January the brand team came back with a Valentine’s brief: get people to notice the Fashion Days app, a whole fashion store one click away. We pitched two ideas and they took “Send Love”. We tested spots on Calea Victoriei and sent parcels up it on pink, red and white heart balloons, past a billboard for the app. It went out on 12 February 2024.
Black Friday and Christmas 2024 were Fashion Days’ concepts, and we made them. We picked the corner tower of the Grand Hotel Continental and turned it into a curved screen: a Pinko bag, sneakers, a puffer and boots, all modelled from the real items, under “BLACK FRIDAY -80%”. A passer-by taps the heart and the boots land in her favourites.
At Christmas a Sameday easybox became an advent calendar. One door opens and a pink Jacquemus bag floats out on red balloons.
