Cookie Policy
Effective date: 20 October 2026
Without your consent, we only store your cookie choice and a little browser storage the site needs to work. With it, we also use Google Analytics to count visits, and RB2B, which recognizes business visitors and can sometimes identify them by name. If you say no, nothing is sent to Google Analytics.

How the banner works
On your first visit the banner gives you three choices:
- “Yes, personalize my experience” turns on analytics (Google Analytics) and marketing (RB2B).
- “No thanks” refuses everything optional in one click.
- “Custom choices” lets you switch each category on or off. All of them start switched off.
Closing the banner with the X, or ignoring it, is not consent: no optional cookies, no RB2B, and the banner asks again on the next page. Google still gets the basic signals described under Analytics.
We keep your choice for 6 months, then ask again. You can change or withdraw it any time from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, where “No to all” switches everything off in one click. Tools you switch off stop on the next page you open. Withdrawing doesn’t undo the past: stored cookies may stay until they expire, and RB2B results we hold stay until you ask us to erase them.
What we use
1. Necessary
These keep the site working and remember your choice, so they need no consent (see the cookie list).
2. Analytics
Only with your consent. We use Google Analytics 4, from Google Ireland Limited, to count visits, see which pages and projects people read and where they came from.
Google Analytics only loads after you accept analytics. Until then, nothing is sent to Google Analytics and no analytics cookies are stored. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to pass your choice on to Google.
Google may process this data outside the EEA; its privacy policy explains the safeguards.
3. Marketing: business visitor recognition
RB2B, a US visitor-identification service, loads only after you say yes. If you’re a business visitor, especially in the US, it may match your visit to your company and a professional profile (name, job title, company, LinkedIn profile, business email) and tell us which pages you saw. Outside the US it usually identifies the company at most, but a match to a named person can’t be ruled out.
RB2B makes these matches from its own data and processes the data in the US; see its privacy policy. Ask us which safeguards cover this transfer.
We keep the results in an internal sheet, only to follow up on business enquiries and only as long as we need them for that. You can ask us to delete them.
To work out where a visitor is, RB2B’s script also calls ip-api.com, a geolocation service, which receives your IP address. Google’s advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) always stay off: we don’t run ads from tuio.ro.
4. Embedded videos
YouTube videos use privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and Vimeo videos have “do not track” on, so they are set up to store nothing in your browser until you press play. After that, YouTube or Vimeo may store data under their own policies.

Proof of your consent
Each time you choose, we log a random consent ID, your choices, the date and time, the banner version, the language and the page. No IP address or name, though the ID matches your tuio_consent cookie. We keep the log for 3 years to prove consent, as Art. 7(1) GDPR requires.
Legal basis
Google Analytics cookies and RB2B are used only with your consent, under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 4(5) of Romanian Law 506/2004.
Necessary storage is exempt from consent under Art. 4(6) of Law 506/2004, because the site can’t work or remember your choice without it. Personal data involved, such as the consent ID, is processed on our legitimate interest in running the site and proving consent (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
You can withdraw consent any time, as easily as you gave it, from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can also ask us to show, correct, delete or limit your data, or send you a portable copy, and you can object to how we use it. Write to contact@tuio.ro.
You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), at www.dataprotection.ro.
Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top.
