Action movies are a top performing vertical for Netflix, yet they generate less online engagement than other genres. Could we create an engaging  and fun activation to promote Zack Snyder’s new action movie streaming on Netflix?

Idea:

Bring a piece of the action to every Netflix fan, challenging them to crack the movie’s iconic vault.

Execution:

An Augmented Reality Effect on Instagram, giving everyone a chance to crack the vault and win an awesome prize.

Results:

The effect was opened 1.2 million times, generating 400 thousand pieces of content and an amazing 3 million impressions.
